Demoness

You are the Demon in my fairytale!
That I can tell from but my heart alone:
Where sweeter pounding should my soul regale
You make it pace beyond its comfort zone.

Demon I call you - not for want of words,
Has not your witchcraft bound me seven years
And changed my heart to fluttering hummingbird?
My dear, that flight with you all nectar bears!

You itch my planning, stitch my severing,
Bring back what I had wished gone long ago.
You right my wrong, unwind my tethering
And make me sail where none has gone before.

You are my fairytale, you bless this mess!
And I love you no less, my Demoness.
