Jewel of the Sea

As if the Sea had but a mind to know!
To fathom what there is and so much more.
Its depth appropriate well to hold and show
What this Me wished unmade and unexplored.

Silently, a wave, a hush of stirring,
A sleeping tiger, power in his wake,
And come My wind to blow his hearing
So he crouches, lunges worlds to shake!

I stir this ocean? I am all this power?
How happen I to posses such a drive?
Nothing to add, but to remove an hour
And back in time my Sea unfolds to thrive.

What I'd put deep to never see again
May put me in it, if unused: my pen.
